False Lashes for the Engagement Photos?

I decided to stay mostly similar to my normal look. I did my own make up as I would for a date night or night out. I think if you want to do the fake lashes, you certainly can, but mascara (in my opinion) is sufficient. Maybe just put on a little extra than normal!

I love fake lashes, so I will probably use them, but I would try some out before you commit.

I did. I used mink lashes personally I prefer those because they’re lighter than the strips

Mine is coming up and I definitely plan on wearing fake lashes because my lashes aren't very long, but I want it to look natural.

I decided to go natural for mine..I will have them for my wedding though. I just didn't want to overdue it.

I went natural for my engagement pics and just did the false lashes on my wedding day!

I used false lashes for mine! I knew we’d be doing this picture in particular and my normal lashes are pretty straight. HOWEVER, my eyes watered the whole shoot and by the end of it the glue wasn’t even sticking so a lot of the last shots were unusable because my makeup was a mess (wiping my eyes/false lashes coming off)

I used false lashed but very natural ones, mainly for length.

Team false lashes for my engagement shoot. I just think they make my eyes stand out much better.

Hey Simone! Some ladies don't like the feel on faux lashes on their eyes, but it also depends on what type of lash(density) and the technique of applying them. I recommend all ladies to wear faux lashes because when you take photos the entire look will come together as opposed to no faux lashes, it will look a little odd.

Hi Simone! If you like the feel and look of your natural lashes then I say go for it! No need to spend the extra money when you already have great lashes! The only reason I wear fake eyelashes in photoshoots is because my eyelashes are short and blonde!

Hey ladies, thanks for your input. In the end I decided to get a natural looking pair from sephora, where I had my makeup done. It was a 90+ degree day in NYC... so glad we didn't totally melt! Here's a sneak peek!
