Cider because you can do a spiked version and a non spiked for those who cant or don't want to drink but yet they still get a similar drink.

I say both! Not everyone likes cider, and not everyone likes bourbon. I will for sure have bourbon there with the open bar, but fall is Apple orchard season here in Michigan, so i'll probably be having cider anyway

I prefer spiced cider (either cold hot, no need to add alcohol) that you can find in the gallon jugs in the produce section. Bourbon is good too but not everyone likes it.
