Fall Colors

We had an October wedding. Ours was also outdoors. We did a lot of burnt orange and a few burgundy accents. I also wanted a rustic style but still kind of classy. Our second choice for bridesmaids outfits would’ve been burgundy if it wasn’t the color of my husbands suit! We didn’t want anyone in the bridal party to wear the same color as him. I personally love burgundy colored dresses. I think it’s such a pretty wedding color especially in the fall. Here’s a few photos from our rustic fall wedding



















We did a lot of the decor ourselves and all of our flowers are fake (either we did them or we bought them off Etsy. All the bouquets and boutonnières came from Etsy) so I feel like I was able to be a lot pickier with the colors. Hobby lobby was a great place for rustic wedding decor. I found a bunch of our signs there.
These are some other fall wedding color palettes I found online that I think feel rustic to me and could go well with a September wedding!

I did a light blue (groomsmen in grey suits) which I felt contrasted well with fall foliage.
Used blue and orange pumpkins we grew as "centerpieces" on the tables

There are countless options. Do a search for “color palette” on Pinterest and see what you love best. As for dresses, be aware that fall colors are usually warm and not everyone can wear warm colors without being washed out, so an option to get around that is to use your colors for florals instead of dresses and they wear a neutral such as cream or black.
