10/17/2020 Wedding here.

Am I the only one planning two weddings? One with just a ceremony with our bridal party, parents and siblings and the original wedding with our closest family and friends?

I feel like the app needs I'm planning a COVID wedding option, as the checklist doesnt apply.
I'm suppose to be sending save the dates to a wedding that may not happen 🙄

We're doing this! I definitely agree about the app (I'm using the knot app, but I'm sure it's similar). I changed the date in the app to the new reception date, but there are some things I have to do twice and I do not want to have to enter everything into the checklist for a separate event (or specific COVID-related items), I'm using the app to make things easier!

It's a little late to be sending out save the dates if you would be sending them for the 10/17/2020 wedding, so if that's what you're worried about, you can just skip them. If you're talking about sending save the dates for something farther in the future, send them. People need something to look forward to. We sent save the dates for our August wedding in December/January and then sent new ones last month when we decided to postpone the reception. It was kind of annoying, but it wasn't too much of a hassle and people were happy to receive them,

Thanks! I just imagined things going so differently, and didnt send the save the dates out earlier because we didnt know what was going to happen, even now we dont know.

Same here. Totally with you - I wish WW had an option for “Small ceremony” and “Full event.” I’ve resorted to using two apps to keep track of it all 🙄 Good luck!!!

Hi Rose! You can customize the checklist in your account by adding new items, changing the deadlines, and removing the items that don’t apply to you! Also as long as you clear tasks by marking them as “done” (instead of deleting them), you can always add them back to your checklist!
