Fake tan

Erin , on May 30, 2019 at 11:13 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
So my wedding is coming up on July 20, I have 3 outdoor events going on prior to my wedding where I will be outside all day everyday for the entire weekend. My dress is strapless and I don’t want tan lines, obviously. Should I go to a tanning bed or should I self tan at home? If I use a self tanner what would you recommend? My only concern with this is it will get on my dress over the course of the night, and I don’t want to ruin my dress.

Neither. I would go to a place that does airbrush tans. You stand there in whatever you want to wear (I prefer to be topless so as to not have tanlines) and a girl will spray you. She should also be able to blend any lines you might get from being outside at the events you have coming up.

Treat yourself to a professional tan! This will minimize something going wrong and stressing you out Smiley smile

Date twins! I tan in beds. I know it's old school & super bad for me. I justify it by tanning almost never, just for big events (so less than once a year). I never burn & am super cognizant about going many times for short periods rather than a few times for longer periods & burning. I don't use the face bulbs either, and I go to the red light therapy beds after. I know, still not safe! I'd suggest going to a well-reviewed spray tan, unless you know how your body tans in beds and how to not burn. I'd avoid at home tanning just so you don't get lines & uneven tan.

I am worried about this as well and will most likely do a spray tan but do a test about a month or 2 before to see how it goes.

I’ve done spray tans in the pasts and they’re fine for me, I’m just worried about it running into my dress if I’m dancing or if I get warm from stressing out about a speech hahahaha

I also leave for my honeymoon for a week the day after we get married, so I’m worried a spray tan will start to come off and be blotchy on my honeymoon... I might just opt for a tanning bed, even though I know it’s not good for you... 🤔
