Hello everyone! I've been following these forums for awhile but never posted anything. My fiance and I are getting married May 16, 2020, and I am right in the midst of planning.

I've been going back and forth about real vs. Fake flowers for awhile. My issue is not so much money, but more set up. The only florist in my town is amish and does not set up flowers on Saturdays, meaning I would have to find someone else to set everything up on Saturday morning (because I would have to keep the flowers cold overnight). OR I could just buy fake flowers and set them up Friday, however I would want them to look nice and realistic. This is probably the route I will take, so that I can see and make sure everything is done myself. So my question is- what are the best places to buy fake flowers that dont look like cheap, plastic flowers? It makes me nervous to order things online that I've never seen before. Did anyone have a good experience ordering online?

I did custom made bouquets, bouts and corsages from a lady on Etsy, she is awesome! She also does other decor like centerpieces, hair pieces and things like that! Here's a picture of my bouquet!

Hello! We chose to do fake flowers. 2 months away from the wedding and all of our arrangements are complete. We just have to bring them into the venue and that’s it - no care, no worry of them wilting, etc.

Jessica's flowers are great and look super realistic. I opted for fake flowers for convenience and travel (DW). I used sola wood flowers. and obviously you can tell they're not real but they don't look cheap or anything.

I got my flowers from lings moments. I love them! Super realistic and very pretty. Some of the flowers came a little squished, but because they’re foam, all I had to do was put the hair dryer on low heat and they opened themselves up beautifully!

Afloral real touch flowers cost just as much as real but I made some of mine with them. I wait for their 20% discounts which happen every other week or so on various parts of their websites

I lucked out and found these at ac Moore last night.i bought 6 thinking I was going to use them for our bouquets but I decided I’m going to buy different faux flowers and use these to make the arbor arrangements like the picture. BuT the brand Gather by Nicole at ac Moore had beautiful options 40% off they were 12 each!

I'm going with Michael's for mine. Tbh some of their flowers do look cheap but they have some higher quality ones too. I'm going to go in the store and arrange the flowers while there. I too get nervous about ordering online. I figured that if I need more of a certain type, I'll have the item number to order more online.
