Fake Flowers 💐

Justine, on May 13, 2019 at 12:30 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 24
Hey guys! So I am aware that fake flowers are a huge money saver and I was intrigued at first. However, when I decided on artificial flowers was when I realized it would be the least stressful method for me overall. My FH's mother and my soon to be mother in law has a degree in flower arranging and is amazing at it which I have just discovered. I am excited to have flower arrangements done for free! However, she lives in Memphis and that's when I knew I wanted to use artificial flowers so she could do them in her own time and send them to me sometime before the wedding. Do you guys know where to get nice looking artificial flowers for a bargain?

Sorry! That was a lot of bantering for the simple question at the end which would have sufficed! 😝

We got ours from Michaels, but I’m sure any craft store in your area has them for cheap!

Afloral.com has very real-looking flowers. They are not as cheap as other places, so I just used them for special flowers that you can't find elsewhere.

Amazon has flowers and greenery for good prices. Some things didn't look real enough when I received them, so I sent them back. Other things (velvet roses, lavender, greenery, etc.) are amazing!

I got very realistic wreaths for centerpieces at Joann's. Wait for their coupons. I got the wreaths during a 70% off spring doorbuster sale. $50 wreaths were only $15! You have to be picky and really shop for things that look real. Save receipts and return things that don't work.

Troll the craft stores for sales. Wait until you get sales and coupons that save a lot of money. It's worth it.

I'll have to check around. Michael's is a good place to start. I'm only worried about them because my local Michaels changes the flowera they carry based on the time of year. I am looking for fall colors.

Thank you so much! I never thought of Joanns and that's what I was worried about with Amazon (certain things not looking real) I will make sure to check out that site for the special ones.

Pretty much any craft store will have them, and they all have sales and coupons on a regular basis. Got all mine for my first wedding from Michael's using sales and/or coupons for all of them. Amazon probably has a nice selection, too, that you can have shipped directly to her instead of having to buy them and ship them yourself. Just be sure to read reviews before you buy!

I vote Michaels as well!!! Keep an eye out for great coupons, and make sure to read the find print on them. They will also honor competition store coupons!
