Fake flowers?

Stefanie, on May 8, 2020 at 6:57 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 15
I am contemplating using fake flowers to make centerpieces for our reception tables but I want them to look real.... can anyone suggest where to get fake roses and peonies that look nice at a decent price?

Try craft stores like michaels, they always have sales on their artificial florals.

Have you looked into Something Borrowed Blooms? They rent pre-arranged silk flowers and are absolutely gorgeous! We’re planning on using them for our wedding

It’s hard to remember exactly since i bought them 2 years ago. They were more than the normal flowers but not that much. I think they were a few dollars each but I got them 50% off. Hobby lobby has 50% off floral sales like once a month. It was definitely cheaper to make my own centerpieces than to have my florist do it.

If you want to save you could rent all flowers since you want fake life like flowers anyway. This is one website has more variety https://www.budget-bride.com/DecorReceptionCeremony_c_217.html . Another option if you want real flowers later on is you donate them, not only would people be happy to get it, but you can also right it off your taxes.

I got mine on Etsy! While they’re not centerpieces— there were tons of options! Even garlands and wreaths! And they’re 1/4 of the price of real flowers. I know there’s also a shop called Lings Moments online and they also have a great selection of foam florals — is that is what you’re looking for instead of the silk ones Fake flowers? 2

I plan on getting real rose petals from Sams or Costco. They’re pretty cheap and lots compared to the ones I’ve seen at Michaels and hobby lobby. My venue said to check with local grocery store to see if they had cheap.

I used amazon! Lings Moment has real touch flowers in boxes of 25 or a dozen and they are fabulous!! There are pictures of my bridesmaid bouquets on my profile where I used them if you want to look!
