Fake flowers? Some or none?

Lauren, on May 17, 2019 at 1:26 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 6
Is anyone else doing fake flowers or a combo of real and fake? My venue covers almost everything but this and I’m in law school and broke.

Yes, I'm doing fake flowers, as my research shows that there are a lot of options out there cheaper than real flowers. Plus they last forever!

Look on etsy for artificial wedding flowers. There are quite a few sellers there that do them, and they look so real!!

If you want to find cheaper real flowers you can get them at Costco in bulk and make your own arrangements! Costco also has some pre made bouquets if you like the options they have. Fake flowers are great too. if you get super realistic ones though they can be more expensive than the real thing but just depends how picky you are about how “fake” they look

I DIY'd my flowers from Sams Club! I bought greenery and hydrangeas in bulk because I hate how "fake" fake flowers genuinley look. The "real" looking fake flowers cost just as much or more than real ones. So I spent a day the week of the wedding organizing and putting together my flowers and I'm so happy I did. It turned out perfect and I only spend less than $400 on my flowers.

I would say about 95% of my flowers are going to be real. The only ones that won't be real are the ones in the fountain at our wedding and possibly the flowers our flower girls though, but I am undecided about that.

I'm having a mix of both. Decoration is mostly greenery so I bought those mostly and the centerpieces will have real greenery and real babybreath

We're doing fake flowers due to allergies and costs. Try Budget Bride.
