Fairy lights at entrance to aisle?

Just curious of your thoughts on adding these at our entry way to the main area. Extra not extra? Adds ambiance? Total no go?

I bought some of these! We're putting it against a wall though. I wouldn't hang it up right where everyone enters because the lights might get pulled down Smiley winking

I think they'd be cute. Were you planning to put them in the aisles ?

I also bought some 😂 but we're going to put them on one of the walls inside the reception space or behind the cake table

I bought them too! I’m not sure about the entrance unless you add them to curtains and tie them back. We’re using them for our gazebo.

This is what we are thinking! But just the tied back lights no curtain

It might work, I’ve seen it done for outside patios but not in an entrance. Just try it out at a doorway at home first.

I would be worried about them being pulled down by accident if they were put up for people to walk through. I'm considering one of these with a sheer burgundy curtain to use as a backdrop for our ceremony (to cover a not so picturesque window with an A/C in it - and it would be taken down after the ceremony so the A/C isn't blocked from the rest of the space for long).
