Sooooo I absolutely love my wedding dress, butttttt, I’m not sure if I’m crazy about the eyelash lace. What are your thoughts? Anybody have any experience with removing eyelash lace? I would have my seamstress do it. It’s hard to tell if I would mind the eyelash so much when I’m all done up for the wedding.

I don't mind it at all, it kind of gives your dress more of a vintage vibe. But, it's beautiful! The only reason I'd remove it is if it bothers you, I don't really think your guests will mind either way, it's a part of the dress.

I think it's beautiful but if you don't want it you can take it to a seamstress and see what they could do

I would make sure to completely love it. Get it removed but make sure it's someone who knows what they're doing you would hate to ruin it

I agree with PP, it gives it a vintage vibe and I think it softens the look. But I'm a big fan of it in general. The important thing is to LOVE your dress. Definitely all your seamstress what your options are.

I don't like the way eyelash lace looks either, to be honest. I wouldn't buy a dress that incorporates it for that reason. I had two choices, one with a bodice I liked better and one a little less but the skirt and neckline on the one I liked more had the eyelash, so I went with the other one.

I also don't love eyelash lace, just because lace is already more on the vintage side as it is. Have you tried tucking the edges under the cups and seeing how you like it? I did that for a couple of dresses I tried on. That said I still think yours look beautiful and I think you'll like it more the day of when your whole look is put together!

I personally love the lace. I was going to get a dress that had the eyelash lace but my skin got super irritated. I was so sad!
