Eye Brightener Recs?

Rue, on June 30, 2021 at 3:48 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 9
Hi everyone! With so much going on lately I’ve noticed my eyes always look so tired 😴 and bags underneath. Does anyone have any recommendations for favorite eye creams or regimens that help with this? Thanks in advance!!

I got serious about skincare a couple months ago and switched to an Indian skincare line called Ranavat. https://www.ranavat.com/
I purchased the JEWEL BOX which had decently sized samples of the entire line. I fell in love with how drastically my skin changed for the better and ended up getting the I AM ROYAL box which was full sizes of the entire line. I no longer have dark circles or bags under my eyes, my acne is all but gone, no more bumps or uneven skin tones, no more dry patches or flaking skin either! It is on the pricier side, but I look at skincare as a longterm investment. And I use Sun Bum Clear Zinc for sun protection on my face also. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep, and exercising a few times a week!

I agree with a lot of PP comments. Make sure you’re covering the basics: sleep, hydrate, wash your face morning and night and always wear SPF. I would add into that routine a retinol serum to help with evening skin tone, but so much of it is consistency and the above mentioned items.

They sell those lil gel things you can put under your eyes for bags. I got mine from Mary Kay but I know other brands should make them.

Vitamin C oil has really helped with my dark circles. Just make sure to patch test somewhere on your arm to make sure your skin doesn’t respond negatively 😊

Maryann's cream for eye care is great to use before bed and I love the way it feels on my skin. Also the tub is great. It will last a while so you get good value for the price. The tub it comes in has a nice appearance too. I love beauty products and this cream is no exception

For an instant improvement I've tried Yes to Cucumbers 2-Step Eye Kit and thought it worked well for brightening my dark circles, which aren't major but definitely more noticeable lately (probably due to stress and lack of sleep). It's expensive per treatment though, so I got one to test out prior to our wedding day (used it for a date night) and then bought another treatment to use for our wedding celebration but just ran out of time getting ready that day.

I'm about to start trying Pixi BeautifEye Eye Patches because the cost per treatment is the least expensive I have seen for eye patches, which I feel work better for instant results compared to creams/serums. I generally like Pixi products and of the three eye patch options this one was recommended for dark circles. In general Vitamin C (which this product contains) is great for brightening skin.

Retinol! ROC makes a great and super affordable under eye cream that has gone wonders for my under eye darkness over the past year. I also highly recommend getting an ice eye mask - I keep mine in the freezer and pop it in whenever I feel extra puffy or if I have a headache. You can find them for super cheap on Amazon.
