extreme guilt

Melissa C, on June 8, 2020 at 9:57 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
So I was ready for my wedding in 2018 and I became pregnant so we cancelled our wedding to concentrate on purchasing a home and having our son. I became pregnant again with my daughter shorty after my son and now we have decided to not have anymore. My guilt for proceeding with wedding planning is killing me. I think about all the other things we could do with the money but it would Break my heart not to have my wedding. I’ve dreamed of it since childhood. I don’t know what to do. Someone help

Go ahead with the wedding of your dreams. I get the guilt, My so and I had two kids before we got married to. But there will always be something, so I say go right ahead and do it. Money is just money, And as long as your kids have everything they need to strive, do something for you and your so!

I totally understand the guilt - there is always something else the money could go to. But at the same time, you'll remember this forever. Some things are worth splurging for! I say go for it!

I get the guilt too :/ it’s so much $ and it’s intimidating to think you could do a lot more with that $ but I think it’s also important to celebrate these moments in life even if they’re not large celebrations ya know? Weddings don’t need to be extravagant or bit
