Extra: palm reader, caricatures, etc?

Spark, on February 25, 2022 at 6:13 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 6
Finance nixed the samba and belly dancer idea... 😭😭 I feel like something is missing.

Other dancers i haven't thought of?
What about palm reader or caricatures or something?

    What is your vibe?

More "upscale" I would suggest a walking champagne table performer, or a lyra artist. If your venue allows it, fire poi or fire staff performers are super cool.

More casual then I would maybe say some kind of artist, like you mentioned. Cotton candy makers, henna artist, tarot card reader, palm reader.

    Upscale Wannabe 🤣🤣

I wish it was more upscale but it's a barn but on the water. Trying to up things as much as possible within budget.
I figure caricatures will replace a gift which are typically trash.
    Thank you

We are doing both the Caricaturist and a palm reader for our bayside, yacht-club wedding. Since our guest list is composed of many small friend groups that don't know each other, I was worried that the cocktail hour (no music) would drag on and folks would be bored. I, too, thought the caricatures would make great 'gifts' for the guests, along with pictures from the photo booth. The great thing is that both artists will work the one hour cocktail time frame, then sit and and eat, and resume the remainder of their booked time (2 hours) during the reception. Lots of time for people to have that fun, and for our crowd it will keep the non-dancers busy, happy and entertained.
