Extended phase 2.

So NC has extended phase 2 till august 7th. The last time we talked to our venue (June 12th) they said we could continue planing for October 3rd as normal because we are under their half capacity. I’m not sure if they were saying that because we were expecting to be in phase 3 by then or if your only rule is half capacity. I’m tempted to email them and ask if they keep extending phase 2 what would that mean for our wedding. FH says I should wait till august 10th to contact them so they have a better idea as what will be going in. What do y’all think? Ask now or wait the 3 weeks before sending a email?

    Does your state or county have guidelines online explaining what is permitted in each phase?

    They do but they are super vague. Like there’s no “ mass gatherings over 10 indoors” but wedding don’t fall under mass gatherings for sone reason.

    We are in a perpetual phase 2 but our venue is @
    50% and we are ok and continuing 8/2.

    That's tough Emma! The venue will definitely be able to give you a more informed answer if you wait until early August, but I know the uncertainty has to be the hardest part!

    It could be worth reaching out to them now and asking if they currently fall under the bar & restaurant guidelines or the indoor / outdoor gathering limits!
