Anyone have any experience buying from BHLDN? Specifically trying on dresses in store. I live in Philadelphia so I made an appointment with the Rittenhouse location, although I could go to Devon as well. I haven’t tried on any dresses yet, and I’m nervous! What should I expect? What size are their samples generally? Should I know all of the dresses I want to try on upfront, or will they suggest some based on what I like? Do you order your actual dress online after the visit?

I had a great experience at BHLDN, my stylist was so informative and helpful. They start off by asking what your budget is and direct you to the dresses within the budget you can try on. My lady even got some dresses from the sales rack that I didn’t see that fell within my budget! I didn’t buy a dress cause I ended finding one in my second appointment else where that I loved, but my experience was great there!

I went the BHLDN in Chicago! They were awesome! Probably one of my favorite places I went. I'm about a 14-16 in wedding dresses and I had no problem fitting into all the ones I picked to try on. They let you browse and pick your dresses first, but it does help to at least look at what they offer online beforehand. They will order the dress right there with you if you decide to buy. I didnt end up buying there, but they were awesome and said if I wanted the dress I could call back and they would order it for me! They took all my measurements and had everything in order. Plus their prices are amazing!

I purchased my dress from BHLDN, and I can't wait to wear it!! My visit (in NYC) was really good. At the time, I was dealing with some health problems that had significantly altered the way I looked and I was really nervous about having the spotlight on me and trying on dresses. My stylist was great when I told her about it, and she did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. There were a few other dresses that I really liked, but I just knew when I tried on my dress :-)

This is great to hear!! I’m also not feeling super comfortable trying on dresses because I’m currently struggling with pretty bad acne on my chest and shoulders (hoping it will be gone by the wedding, but currently in that “worse before it gets better” phase). What dress did you end up going with (if you don’t mind)?

I think they stopped making it :-( It was called Suri. It's gorgeous, simple (I didn't want anything too princessy), has lace all over, and a keyhole back, which I really wanted.

I didn’t get my wedding dress from BHLD but I took my bridesmaids for a day all about them to BHLD Philadelphia and the team was fantastic! We comfortably had all 6 girls trying on dresses and they made the girls feel special. I had my day and wanted them to have theirs. Half the girls ordered immediately in-store during the appointment and the other half ordered online later.
