I made the mistake of checking my personal email at work (oops) and MY DRESS CAME IN!!! It wasn't supposed to be here until Monday, I'm halfway freaking out at my desk right now lol. I texted my sister (MOH) and told her I feel sick to my stomach, pretty sure that's half excitement half anxiety. I've been having dress regret since a week after I ordered it, but I'm really hoping it goes away once I see my dress in my size and brand new (without all the wrinkles like the sample dress). Working through lunch so I can leave an hour early to go get it, trying to keep my hands from shaking while I send out emails

You are SO cute!! I would "suddenly become sick" and half to leave early, haha! I understand the "dress regret" due to size and wrinkles.. I had the same feeling when I looked back at pictures of my dress from the try-on day.. BUTTTT it went away as my seamstress has been it fit me perfectly. Best of luck and let us see!!

How exciting! But remember, they don’t steam your dress when you pick it up, so it’s still going to be wrinkled and if there’s any poof to the skirt it won’t look as poofy for the same reason. I imagine you’ll still love it as the size will be correct and will look even better because of that. And I would tell the boss you came down with a stomach ailment so you could go home and rest... maybe with a slight detour to the bridal shop!

I'm glad you told me that, I don't want to have my expectations too high. I was also worried about my dress not being as poofy as I wanted it to be. So I guess we'll just have to see! My boss called it a half-day today (at 11AM lol) so I'm just working through lunch to leave an hour early. Only three more hours to go

So exciting! Don't be disappointed if it looks a little frumpy at first! It may be wrinkled and not as poofy as you'd like because it needs time to breath after being shipped!
I had dress regret too after buying mine but on the wedding day when you are all dolled up in hair and makeup you will feel like a million bucks!

I had the same feeling. My dress was not supposed to be in till December, and I got an email stating it was in this week. I had to call to make sure it was a mistake.
Enjoy picking it up today and I hope your face lights up once you see it.

Oh god, I know myself and if I got the email while at work it would be adios! I would suddenly have the flu and everything 😂. I would not be able to work through it. Congrats on getting your dress though! I hope it’s everything you dreamed!
