We are planning our honeymoon for August and have narrowed our choices down to Excellence Riviera Cancun & Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya! We have read so many reviews on each, but would love more personal stories on each resorts. Even better if you have been to both and can compare them. We are really looking for a good beach, decent food, and a fun, entertaining atmosphere while also having the option to relax. We do not want to be bored on our vacation! The more included activities/excursions the better. Thank you in advance!

I stayed at the Excellence Riveria last December and it was 100% the best vacation of my life. If you want to be treated like royalty with good food, good drinks and beautiful weather it’s the place for you!

Thanks for the feedback! What was the atmosphere like? We don't want a place that is too party, but do like a lot of activities and a lively group and atmosphere.

We LOVED the atmosphere! Nightly shows and things to do during the day but not at all “spring break-ish” which was exactly what we wanted. Incredible restaurants and bars! The activities during the day were things like beach/pool vollyball or cooking classes or group lead yoga on floats! They have an entire day full of events each day to pick from. There were no foam parties, or wet tee shirt contests. Everything was extremely classy and well done! Definitely treated the best I’ve ever had!
