Simple question but is it normal for my ex to remarry in exactly the same venue as we married in? We split 12 years ago and have both moved on but I cannot understand why he and his new bride would choose the exact venue we had. There are thousands of others to choose from, and it just wouldn't be on my radar for venues due to memories there. He was planning on wearing the same clothes he wore before too. Also, his wedding reception is in the same village (where we both used to live) and the couple have chosen the same destination for a honeymoon as we had planned. I find it all quite perplexing and upsetting to be honest as otherwise I would be happy for them, she seems a nice girl and it's her first marriage.

It's weird... I wonder does the girl even know though? I can't imagine being ok with this on any level, but hey, everyone is different and maybe she is.

Regardless, it doesn't really affect you, so I wouldn't worry about it

The best thing you can do is not worry about it. Don't let it get to you. He is in the past for a reason, right? Therefore, don't dwell on how he chooses to spend his future.

I think this is something you really shouldn't care about. Its your ex. Whatever.... He's the past. Move on. I can tell you haven't if you know all these details....
