We are trying to make our wedding as green as possible and since most people throw their invite in the mail after we are looking at evites. Has anyone done this before that can offer some insight? Particularly looking for recommendations on who to use, if you can see if a person has opened it, and if you can resend for free if it gets deleted? Any other pros or cons are also appreciated!

I used Punchbowl for my minimony invites. I plan on using paper invites for the big wedding. Punchbowl allows you to see when the evicted were delivered and when they were viewed. It also lets you send messages to the guests and set reminders about the event. You can resend the invite however many times you want. I first used it for my sons 2 birthday parties and figured why not use it for our minimony. I have no problems with it what so ever!

You can see from the guest list who has opened it and when they opened it! You definitely can send messages to the guest list

We did everything electronically and used withjoy.com. Highly recommend it! Very comprehensive tools.

We used paperless post for our postponement announcements, they have invitations as well. I really enjoyed them! You can track who opened the email vs who didn't (in case someone misses it), and you could link straight to the wedding website if you want. The invitation options themselves are really varied and some are quite nice and classy/formal.
