Event planner how many of you are having one?

I've just invested part of my budget in hiring an event planner. We don't have decorations, and I just don't see the wasting the money in buying them when we'll never use them again. Also I'm visually impaired I like the thought of having someone on the day roping this circus in and keeping everyone on schedule unlike my last wedding where I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. She'll decorate the space and her team tears it all down. Wine to Water they're called and cost about 2,000$. I'm having a small wedding on Halloween Renaissance themed about 60 guest. But could be 100. We're still 10 months away and we're not sure what family is committed for sure. Was I crazy 🤪 to get a event coordinator? I don't think so. My Man of honor didn't think so he actually gifted half the cost of booking this lady just so I could have her to ease the stress and get this huge chaple decorated.
