Evening Bridal Shower/Engagement Party?

Sunday afternoon Bridal showers are so boring and awkward to me. Would it be odd if I suggested a coed Saturday night or Friday night shower, where we would serve heavy appetizers and cocktails? Would that be more of an Engagement Party? Do guests give gifts off of a registry for an engagement party?

Not at all. I had a bridal shower that was a cocktail party at a wine bar. They had apps and a mini wine tasting for us. It was so fun!

I wouldn't give you a gift for an engagement party, I'd give you a gift for a shower.

Remember, these type of events should be hosted for you, not by you.

I can't imagine most of the women that came to my shower going to an evening shower.
