I would suggest trying on dresses at a shop first. Maybe try to find a style similar to the one you like on Etsy and if you love the style then try ordering it. I had a dress that I loved online and when I decided to go dress shopping and tried on a similar dress to the one online I HATED it. I ended up LOVING the dress shopping experience and fell in love with a dress. My biggest concern was getting the dress and not being able to return it. I would really check the return policy if you want to get one on Etsy. Because WHAT IF you spend a lot and you don't like how it fits

I considered purchasing my dress from Etsy, but for me it felt like too much of a risk. It really depends on the seller and their return policies if you don't like the dress. Like PP said, research different shops and read the reviews to ensure a good experience!

Yes! I bought my dress on etsy from ieie bridal. The dress was custom made for about $375 .For different angles:

I am beyond happy with my purchase. Make sure you measure yourself with whatever undergarments you're going to wear. On the third image, my waist went in a bit more than expected. And when I asked family whet they thought, no one told me so it was never taken in... But the dress fit to perfection otherwise. Also, read reviews, look at photos, and you want a vendor who wants a ton of measurements.

I couldn't be happier. Except for the very few closeups on the back, all the pictures came out fantastic!

Oh, I also order the shoes and hair pieces from etsy.

I've gotten so much stuff from Etsy and loved them all! Out shot glass favors, my bridesmaids robes and tote bags, our welcome sign, a personalized wedding date sign, groomsmen flask sets, and so much more! Etsy is great but make sure you read the reviews of the shop you are buying from!

I've ordered all my bridesmaid gifts off etsy! So far, I've got no complaint watch out for shipping prices tho...some places ship from out of the country and can get expensive

Not my dress, but my veil, garter, bouquet charms, and some other things! Just check the shop reviews before purchasing. I love everything I have received so far and plan to purchase much more before the wedding date!

So far I've ordered wedding party gifts, parents gifts, ring pillow, garter, cake topper, cake knife and serving set, as well as our toasting glasses and I absolutely love every single thing! Like PP said be sure to look at shipping cost because some things were going to cost more for shipping than the product itself so you may have to shop around at similar shops to get a better deal!

Our invites and my shoes have come from Etsy and I love them both. I’ve also got some veils and tiaras I’m eyeing on there as well. I’ve always had good experiences there, but I would be leery of a dress mainly because I would like to try it on first.

I bought my shoes from the Kailee P shop on Etsy and I am IN LOVE. They fit like a glove and are so well made. I plan on getting my welcome sign on there as well!

I've ordered my bridesmaids proposal boxes and the robes for the day of to wear before the wedding and both came out perfect. Honestly I love Etsy because it's cheaper and they have so many options.

Etsy is an online marketplace for thousands of sellers so your question might as well be "Have you bought anything from the mall and liked it?" It is just an online mall. You need to read the seller's reviews and return policy. But, yes, I spent close to $2,000 buying things off Etsy just for my wedding, and have spent thousands over the years. I absolutely love Etsy.
