Etsy Veils?!

Jensine, on July 31, 2020 at 11:13 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19
Hello! I know accessories can be super expensive. I am looking into Etsy shops to buy my veil but I’m unsure if they’re reliable! Has anyone ever bought veils from Etsy? Any recommendations?

I did not buy my veil from Etsy, but did buy it on Amazon. And the same exact veil I purchased for $10 or $15 on Amazon was $275 at the bridal shop. Both 2 Tier and the same exact edging. And it was prime so if I didn't like it, I could've returned it.

I didn't buy my veil on Esty, but I bought a bunch of other things for the wedding from Etsy. My suggestion is to read the reviews before you ever purchase something online. Like Margaret, I got my veil from Amazon rather than Etsy. My mom has Prime so she ordered three different veils for me. I picked the one I liked the best and she returned the other two of free. I wanted a very simple white veil and couldn't justify spending a couple hundred dollars that the bridal shop wanted on such a simple veil.

I bought my veil from veilsby Roxanne.com, she is also on Etsy. It was a little pricy, $250 for a cathedral length veil, but I was able to get exactly what I wanted and the quality was great. Glimmer illusion tulle with silk colored Swarovski crystals scattered throughout and a corded satin edge.

BUT...lots of girls here love Blanca veils, also on Etsy.
I think there are lots of options that could make you happy. Go with what your budget will allow, and even better, a seller who allows returns if you’re not happy.

Blanca veils! I got my veil from her and I love it! She also has this amazing magnetic hair piece so you don’t have to remove the comb from tour hair but are still able to remove the veil!

Honestly just read the reviews of each store (and make sure you set the search filter to US shops only so you dont pay extra fees). Most stores there are reliable and a veil should not be as expensive as most of them are.

I was suggested to look at etsy, and I compared and bought their swatch. I am happy to save and got a great quality from my seller. I previously bought a fingertip beaded veil for $158 from the bridal shop I bought my dress from, but I changed my mind. I don’t like how large the comb looks on my head. I prefer the dramatic 144” royal cathedral simple veil, but on a small 3” comb. In total it was $55.35. My seller custom made it for me and the tulle is extra wide too! Blanka veils has the exact same one but on a larger comb, same material, but the one I bought is cheaper and the comb is from right to left fully covered by the tulle. My seller was SimpleWeddingDesign.

My tip: Always ask for close up picture before you order.

This was I fell in love when I was in David’s Bridal but was not willing to pay over $200 for a veil. Found the exact one for $100 on Poshmark brand new

Yes. This seller is cheaper for the same quality and same item. And... she responds quickly, and very friendly.

I bought my veil on Etsy from Lord and Grey Bridal, it was a chapel veil for $40. While it's much cheaper than others, I found even cheaper one's on Amazon of the same quality. I'll be buying a fingertip length veil from Amazon as well, because I changed my mind on length. It's such a simple little piece that it's not worth spending much on to me.

I ordered mine from blessweddingveil on Etsy and omg it’s perfect! I looked everywhere and couldn’t find one that didn’t look cheap and didn’t cost a fortune for a piece of tulle. My dress is champagne colored and I didn’t want an ivory veil because I didn’t think it would match. Etsy was the only place I could find a veil that matched my dress. There were so many options of style, length, and colors.

I bought my veil from Lamnhi Bridals on Etsy. It’s absolutely gorgeous! I prefer to shop on Etsy and support small business instead of Amazon. https://www.etsy.com/shop/LamnhiBridals
