Etsy Rings

Has anyone gotten their engagement rings or wedding bands from Etsy? I would rather support small shops than the chain retailers and the awful diamond industry (look it up- it's bad). Plus, many things on Etsy are super unique. if you have suggestions of shops or pictures, please share! FH wants a black band and I'm undecided.

Both my engagement ring and FHs band were from etsy! i had similar views as you when it came to rings, i didn't want a diamond and i wasn't into the huge chain retailer vibe. My ring is absolutely beautiful and appraised for higher than I paid on Etsy.

My ring is from LuoJewerly and FHs band is from debblazer

My e-ring is from here . I also will be getting my wedding band from etsy, but haven't fully decided where yet. I love the ones from her shop, they're more than I want to pay for my wedding band.

There's nothing wrong with real diamonds, in fact, they help support areas that would suffer without the legal trade. "Blood diamonds" were exposed back in the 90's and have been cut out of American trade almost entirely. You just have to do your research. You can get "conflict-free" diamonds now from pretty much all of the major retailers. Or better yet, buy from one of the retailers who go beyond the standard Kimberly Process (the certification process for conflict-free diamonds) and take even stronger stands against the violation of human rights. Blue Nile and Brilliant Earth, for example, refuse to buy from countries such as Zimbabwe that abuse their workers' basic human rights. They continue to buy from African sources that give work, healthcare, and education to the citizens.

I purchased FH band from an etsy shop BrielleShoppe ! It had free custom engraving and was very reasonably priced! The ring itself is heavy however. FH plans on wearing a qalo 99% of the time, but I wanted him to have a nice band for any time we want to dress up or go out. I am very happy with me purchase! His ring is a black tungsten.

I got my FH's wedding band on Etsy, after reviewing a ton of pages and reviews, I went with The Ring Crafter (Pauly Marciano). I got FH a tungsten ring but polished (he wanted silver, but I got Tungsten because all the reviews say it holds up better, especially considering his job).

My sister and BIL got theirs from Etsy! The only thing I’d recommend is making sure you order with plenty of time to get them in and be positive they fit before the wedding. My BIL has to send his back because the size chart they had was different than what he was used to and he got his band back literally the day before the wedding! They’d gone out and purchased a cheap Walmart band just in case!

My engagement ring is from Etsy! I love it and get so many compliments on it and how it’s different. My enhancer is from Kay just because we were having a hard time with finding the right curve of the band and the local jewelers near us were much more expensive.

we’re also going to buy my FH from Etsy.

My wedding set came from Etsy... Absolutely no regrets! The store is called Zhedora and I absolutely recommend them! They make rings with diamond alternatives (Moissanite, Simulated Diamond, Sapphire, Morganite, and other precious gemstones) but they will also make your ring with a real diamond as well!

    Here's my ring:

I got my ring from Etsy! Shipping took a very long time, but once the ring finally came, I loved it! (my fiancee proposed with a ring pop and we got the ring two months later). https://www.etsy.com/shop/WeddingRingsStore/items

We didn’t get my ring from Etsy, but we found a local jeweler. He owns the shop (and has for 30 years), and the only other employee is his son (now co-owner). They are absolutely amazing. They aren’t just some big name who wants your money. They go above and beyond for customer service. After FH bought my ring and proposed, I went in to get it resized. They did it right there and then, for free. Then 6 months later after losing some weight it felt too big again. They resized it again, cleaned it, fixed a small nick in the band, all for free again! They thrive off of word of mouth from their customers, not by charging fees for all sorts of stuff. Just went to buy FHs band from them. Was quoted $990 from another jeweler, they are selling it to me for $610. I didn’t tell them the other jeweler’s price, they just don’t upcharge like other places.

Long post, but in summary: Etsy is great if you find a good shop, but once you buy it, you have to figure out where to clean/resize/maintain it. Try to find a well reviewed local small jeweler if you can.

We got my e-ring from Wan Love on Etsy.

It's beautiful, it was affordable, and the gemstones are lab-made, if you are concerned about ethics!

My engagement ring is from Etsy! I got it from a store run by a woman who collects vintage jewelry from thrift stores and resells them online.
