Etsy Flower packages?

Kaitlyn, on August 28, 2019 at 4:50 PM Posted in Style and Décor 1 11
Has anyone had experience with getting a floral package (i.e. bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, centerpieces) from an Etsy shop?

I was quoted a little over $2200 for:

- bridal bouquet and a free toss one
- MOH bouquet and 3 bridesmaids bouquets
- groom and BM boutonnières
- 3 groomsmen boutonnières
- 3 additional boutonnières
- 2 flower crowns
- 3 corsages
- arch and decor
- 8 centerpieces
- pew decor and aisle runner

All fresh flowers, from the Field Of Flowers wedding division, Lush Celebrations.

I don’t want to spend that much, so I (as a modern, frugal bride) turned to Etsy and found some bouquet/boutonnière/corsage packages for like $300-$500, which I like.

Has anyone had experiences (good, bad, and in-between) with going this route for flowers? I don’t mind the whole fresh/dried/silk/solawood/clay debate.

I haven't gotten that far yet, but I've already made my decision. I love flowers, but don't even have the budget for them. So, I started researching artificial flowers. A few other brides posted pictures of what they were doing in that arena, and they were gorgeous!! So, I asked one of them for the name of the Etsy seller she was going with. She was ordering a number of items (like your list above), and her price was really affordable!! She gave me the name of the shop, and I went to the website. Really beautiful bouquets, bouts, corsages, etc. for a really affordable price. They look REAL and will last forever. So, when it's time for me to get my flowers, that's who I'm going with.

The Etsy shop is called DressMyWedding. Check it out.

I will definitely check them out! I’ve found a few packages that look reasonable or only need minor tweaking in terms of the amount of items, but I’ve only been looking for a few days.

I just started dabbling into the idea of flowers too. I love live flowers, and insist on having them even though I don't have a budget for flowers either. (Quoted around $1100-$1800) so I am going to DIY some live flowers. I am looking into Fifty Flowers online, and have a consultation with them tomorrow for an exact quote. But I am guess-timating around $500 for everything. Maybe check it out if you want to go with the live flowers route. Smiley smile

This is definitely and idea I’ve had! Tempted to go to Costco and get a couple bouquets and throw some stuff together. My only thing is having to get the little pieces necessary to figure out how to make boutonnières and corsages.

Yes, in reading up on her website, I understand that this gal has already made stuff, as well as fills custom orders. She has packages, and then she also can custom tailor the order to your needs.

For what I want, i got a quote that was just under $500. I can do that.

Agreed! That part of it seems a little confusing - I'm currently watching loads of YouTube videos to educate myself, because those just seem a little tricky...

I got a quote from LilyofAngeles on Etsy for $388 for everything needed for myself, 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, and parents. It's a great deal! Check her out!

Are you planning on keeping them all? If not you can rent florals. I am going through somethingborrowedblooms.com. They have amazing arrangements at reasonable prices. Check Facebook and their website for pictures if you’re ok with renting them. I know some brides are against it however it’s a good opinion if your on a budget.

Flowers have been the most difficult for us. We really want to have the real flowers but it's just unreal how the prices are. Especially on a tight budget. I found silk flowers and they'll custom color everything for me at bridal-budget.com.

    1 Large bridal

    2 bridesmaids

    1 groom boutonnière

    2 groomsmen boutonnières

    6 family boutonnières

    6 family wrist corsages

and flowers for my cake, for $775. And everyone can keep them since they'll last forever!
