Hello, just got engaged and just started wedding planning. What is an appropriate amount of time to wait for an email response? I'm emailing those who are 7 hrs ahead. Is 24-48 hours enough, or is that too long? I don't want to waste my time but also don't want to be too inpatient and miss an opportunity. Thanks!

    I assume you are reaching out to vendors. I’d give them 5 business days. It’s peak wedding season and if it’s a small business vendor they may be a one person operation.

    I agree, 5 business days is pretty standard. I’ve had to wait up to two weeks for a response from some of my vendors

    I give everyone 7 days and then I’ll send a follow up email. After that follow up if they don’t get back to me in 2-5 business day I take them off the list.

    Maybeeee one vendor I've emailed inquiring has waited in replying more than 24 hrs.
    And it immediately turned me off by them..
    Or one vendor couldn't get the link sent correctly and I again immediately was like, nope.
