Ethical Engagement/wedding Rings

I do not have my engagement ring yet as I want to pick it out myself. I really want an ethically-sourced ring, for both my engagement ring and wedding band. I have been looking into different companies and I have read so many mixed reviews about all of them that I don’t know what to do. I have looked into Brilliant Earth, Blue Nile, and James Allen. Since they would be ordered online, I’m super nervous to choose.

Has anyone used an ethical jeweler? What was your experience?

I’ve looked at their site! I forgot to mention it in my original post! I don’t think I saw anything on there that jumped out at me, but maybe I’ll take another look. I do love the fact that they donate part of the purchase. I definitely would rather support a company like that than a big corporation.

There’s a custom ring option so if you know what you like, see if they’ll design it for you! Their customer service is so nice. A bit slow... but I contacted them before the holidays so I’m sure it’s a busy season for them. When FH contacted them in Jan, they answered him pretty quickly. I love that even though we got a beautiful ring, it’s not a selfish and materialistic purchase that only supports big corporations, but instead it’s going to people who know what to do with the money to help others.
