Help! I have gone to two bridal stores and found my perfect dress, the Essense of Australia D2642. I am only 5'2 so at the first store, the consultant told me that it would ultimately save me time and money to order my dress with a hollow to hem measurement but the second store told me that is not an option. Does anyone have experience with ordering a hollow to hem dress from EOA? Is this an option offered based on bridal store and not designer? I am trying to get in contact with the first consultant but am having issues because of COVID.

Hello! I ordered an EOA and am 5'3. I did not order my dress hollow to hem, my consultant at the bridal store told me that I could, but they don't recommend it because sometimes it can mess up the detailing on the skirt.

I have an Essence of Australia dress. I am 5’5” and wearing flats. Based on what my consultant told me, many if not all of their dresses can be ordered hollow to hem - she had to look up exactly how to measure mine because I guess where the “hollow” measurement starts can be different with different dresses. When I got my dress, it was still a few inches too long. Luckily, the bridal store did not charge me to have it hemmed further

I am 5'2 I ordered a Stella York dress and they did recommend the hollow to hem. I am so happy that I was given that option. I don't have to have it hemmed at all it fits perfect. I am wearing 2 inch heels as well.

Essence 100% does hollow to hem, regardless of the store. That's a designer thing rather than a store thing. Never done it before, but seems to be a hit in the bridal world. Hope that helps!
