Espresso Bar? Yay or Nah?

It’s a cute idea. I was recently at a wedding that offered late night snacks. They had funnel cake, fries and pizza. It was a huge hit - especially after dancing for a few hours.

I think that sounds like a fun idea for when they'd usually do coffee and dessert! Just don't get it too late in the evening where people won't want to be wired on caffeine lol

We did a hot cocoa/coffee bar when cake was served. I didn’t get a cup, I totally forgot about it 😩
It I heard someone saying the coffee needed to be refilled, so I’m assuming it was a hit, lol.

We had an afternoon/early evening wedding and served coffee. It was a massive hit! Maybe keep in mind how many of your guests are driving home and the average drive time after they leave your wedding reception. Most of our guests were semi-local and had a 30min-2hr drive to get home. That definitely increased the number of coffee drinkers we had because people wanted to grab a cup right before they hit the road.

This is probably a know your crowd sorta thing, but I can say it would be a huge hit with myself and our crowd!

We all try to have something fun and different for our wedding add a unique touch of something. If you want it I say go for it.

I'm a huge coffee fan so I would LOVE this! It is a totally cute idea that I would absolutely remember from someone's wedding! As long as they have decaf lol

I thought about a coffee truck as well but decided against it. I dont think people will think to exit the venue to go outside to the truck. It would be a lot easier for an outside wedding because then its right in peoples view!

View Quoted Comment Oh yes I agree. The owner of our venue said people don't go outside to get food from a food truck because it si out of the way. Our expresso bar is a cart they will be inside the venue 🙂

An espresso/cocoa bar sounds awesome! Many older guests enjoy coffee with cake after dinner, and coffee is recommended as something to be served the last hour of the reception after last call at the bar so guests can sober up to drive home.


Our guests would love it regardless of the time.
