My mom will walk with either my grandpa (her dad) or my older brother. I left it up to her who will ultimately escort her down.

My brother escorted my mom down the aisle and my brother-in-law escorted my mother-in-law down the aisle. They were both in the wedding so after both moms were seated they double back around to the escort the person they were paired with.

My husband walked my mom and my in laws walked together! i think it worked out really well actually.

That's what my mom and dad did. We had the grandmothers seated by my H, then he came back and escorted his parents, then stayed at the front. Then my dad, escorted my mom, came back and waited with me while the bridal party walked, then he and i walked together. It worked perfectly and wasn't inappropriate or awkward at all!
