Escort cards/favors

When my wedding was in May, the escort card was going to be a little succulent plant and a stick with their name/table number. Well now that it’s not spring, I need to think of something nee that’s not too expensive. Ideas? Ultimately I dont to want to print something special or display on a board, etc. Help!

    Succulents are a year round (typically hot weather) plant. What season are you looking for instead? You can still use succulents in summer. Otherwise pick something edible.

    Fall now in Chicago. Too cold to plant outside. And it doesn’t feel fallish.

    Favors aren’t necessary but if you want to do them, here are some yummy ideas: spice pop, pumpkin-shaped cookie, flavored ground coffee, chocolate truffle. Love the hot chocolate idea too.

    I love the mini pumpkin idea since it's similar to the succulents! We're doing little glass vials of ground coffee!

    Mum's grow and actually bloom in the fall. You could give out individual real or faux mum's with their table tag attached.
