Escort cards

on August 13, 2020 at 1:17 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9
Hello! On Etsy I have seen Escort Card templates that you can get for not very much, you type in all the names and table #’s, and then you get it printed. Has anyone ever done them that way? How much does it cost to print on thick paper? (I want tented) I’m guessing it wouldn’t cost as much as paying someone to make each one by hand like with calligraphy?

I’ve done it before where I got a free template and just printed it off of card stock I bought. It’s relatively easy and cost effective to do it yourself

I just bought the Avery small tented cards, which come with a free online template. It cost me about $10 for the cards and they came out well. They have many options in the template. I just printed them on my home printer.

I bought a template from Etsy for our escort cards, but ours weren't the traditional ones. Ours looked like tickets to a hockey game. I had them printed at Office Depo and they weren't very expunged. Not sure if they do the rented ones, but I'd definitely call and see if that is an option.

My husband loves hockey so we had light touches of hockey related things, but it wasn't really our theme.

I'm not sure how good your handwriting is, but I wrote my own on tented escort cards that I got from Michael's. It was like $5 for 50 cards and I got 2 packs. It took me under an hour to write them all out, and we had 100 guests. I don't have like, calligraphy-worthy handwriting but it's certainly legible and I don't think guests pay much attention to them anyway lol, they just end up in the trash.

Not to say you have to do them yourself or anything lol, just saying if you are wanting to save money and you have legible handwriting, it really isn't as big of a task as it seems!

I'm having ours done on minted.com. We did our invitations and covid info cards through them so everything matches. Our place cards will match too.
