Yes..they have their own chairs and will be eating so yes they get escort cards too.

Part of me would want to have one for them too, but I think it would mostly depend on if they're sitting in a parent's lap or a high chair. If it's a high chair, I'd probably create one for them. If sitting in a lap, I'd probably write their name on their parents' escort card (in addition to the parents' names) instead of giving them their own.

View Quoted Comment I wouldn't include them on the parents' escort cards nor give them their own. Talk to the venue and parents about high chairs. But there is no reason anyone under 3 needs an escort card.

Yea, which is why I was asking and mentioned that any kid being lapped on their parents wouldn't need one. I've actually recently emailed the venue about high chairs. I'm just waiting for a response.

Yes, we did. The only kids at our wedding were the two flower girls, and since they got their own chairs, they got their own escort cards. The caterer needed them anyway for the meal selections.

View Quoted Comment You still need escort cards anytime guests sit to eat, whether it's a buffet or plated. It keeps couples and families from getting split up and provides a home base for purses, coats, etc. Just assign them to a table and let them pick the seat.

Every butt should have a seat. Parent shouldn’t be expected to hold their children throughout dinner.
