Escort Cards

Moira, on September 8, 2022 at 8:51 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5

So I have a few plus ones that I do not know the name's of/last names of. They're on my FH side and he doesn't really know them, just his parents. I have asked them several times- making the guest list, sending STD, addressing of the invitations, etc. and they won't find out who these people are for me,

Should I just leave the escort name as just their first name? or put "xx's guest?"?

They didn't put their last names on the RSVP? In that case I'd go with xx's guest.

Unfortunately not, I had two just put their first names and another just put “bringing a guest” 😞

Could your in-laws-to-be just give you a phone number or email address for those people? As much as nobody wants to call up people they don't know, it would probably just be a quick call. Something like, "Hey so-and-so, this is Bride, FH's parents gave me your number because I wanted to make sure I had your name spelled right."

Otherwise, I'd probably just have them as "Guest of so-and-so" and call it a day.

I would probably just put "xx's guest" if they don't get back to you in time.

We have 1 guest who said he was choosing between 2 different girls to bring so we don't even have a first name to put -__-

We had one person who never gave us the name so we put XXXXXXXXX + Guest on our seating chart
