Escort Cards or Seating Chart?

Again this is more of a preference but I like seating arrangements way better

Escort cards or chart I haven’t decided but definitely have to do one. Typically at family weddings it’s tables reserved for immediate family and then everyone else seat yourselves, but since the families haven’t met yet I’m going with assigned tables. I’m a bit nervous about how everyone will get on with each other since I haven’t even met his side besides a few of the immediate family members but I’m sure the nerves will ease after I meet everyone at his family reunion this weekend. 😬so nervous!

Escort cards! We had tequila shot escort cards to match our destination wedding.

Neither we are letting people sit where they want too much work it's the last thing I'm worried about and cheaper

Neither, just table numbers. Only table with seating cards will be the table for our parents/special guests, other than that the guest will be able to sit where they would like to

I prefer a seating chart. I haven't decided yet.

Seating chart, I think it's easier to pick a group of people you think would get along. And it's easier for guests to navigate, rather than looking through a mass of card with their name.

More like RESERVED seating. We're reserving the tables that we're wanting our families to sit at, but other than that it will be open seating.

We like that you can get creative with the look of a chart and originally were going with that. But right now my daughter is going to do folded escort cards in silver colored trays filled with pearls surrounded with candles. But then again, the wedding is months away so it could change again.
