Escort Attire

Danica, on July 9, 2019 at 3:17 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
Just curious as to everyone else's thoughts on wedding attire.... My older brother will be walking me down the aisle. We're having a very laidback, country style wedding. FH & groomsmen will be in tan button up shirts, jeans, & boots. I'm torn between having my brother wear the same color shirt as my FH & groomsmen or having my brother wear white instead. What is everyone else's thoughts - should the bride's escort be in a different color than the groom & groomsmen?

Everyone else in the wedding party (our parents and my brother) that walked in the processional that wasn't in the groom's party wore different color from the groomsmen.
But I think if they matched that's ok too.

My son walked me down the aisle and he would different color pants but since your guys are all wearing jeans a different color ores shirt would be fine or even the same shirt. That isn’t something people will really take notice of.

My FH and groomsmen will be wearing gray pants, white shirts, and different colored vests depending on their role. My father is walking me down the aisle and he's wearing the same but a gray vest instead of colored. I think your brother wearing a white shirt would look nice.

Hey Danica! I think your brother wearing either a tan or a white shirt would look great. There is no rule that the bride's escort must or must not match the groomsmen. If you're really stuck with your decision, perhaps you could ask your brother if he has a preference in what he wears!
