Anyone know what the type of envelope is typically used for weddings?. I'm looking for a thicker envelope.

I think ours are 5x7, yeah they are thicker than your normal envelope. They are blue

Our envelopes came with the invites. They're 5×7 and kind of filmy because they're gold. I don't think there's a specific "invitation envelope" though.

When it comes to your invitation envelopes, there really isn’t a right or wrong answer! The only requirements that you need to remember is that your invitations and RSVP cards fit into it!

So my invites came with super thin envelope. Kinda cheap looking. I didn’t know if there was a “type” of envelope (as far as thickness). You know how regular envelopes have a #10 etc... ? I can’t seem to find anything online with different types.
