Envelope addressing

Hi there! I am just about to start addressing the invitation envelopes and am wondering how you are doing yours? I would be addressing mine by hand, makes it more personal. I plan to write the return address on the flap of the envelope. How are you doing yours? Are you doing it by hand as well?...

I would love to see your envelopes!

I use these pens, the font I picked as Breezy casuse I don't have to move the letters around to make them "flow" like you do either other fonts. I just leave my return addresses alone and change the mailing address for each person. No welding or ungrouping. I'm too OCD to write them by hand. I would go through so many envelopes!

I also have to tie a hairtie around the pen to make it fit and it's a guessing game to get it in there right but once I have them in I don't move it until. Done lol

I printed labels for mine because we have 115 invitations so hand writing all invitations and RSVPs was just out of the question for me.

I used my Cricut. It took a bit of time mindlessly feeding the machine while watching TV to do all 100 envelopes but I'm happy with how it turned out.

We paid a local woman to do our guest addresses! We ordered a stamp on Etsy with our return address.

I work in an office with a supply of Avery labels on hand. So guess what I'm using? HaHa. Smiley xd A mail merge later and I'm done. Our return address is pre-printed on the envelopes.

Do you have the return address on the back or on the flap of the envelope?

I have terrible handwriting and FH's isn't much better.

We bought clear labels and are printing out the addresses on those. We can choose whatever font we want, but it'll still be legible.

Plus, this way we have a spreadsheet and we can double check for typos.

STD's I will print off labels and send them out as I feel these are more casual. Our wedding invitations will be hand written by a professional in our area. I believe a few of the ladies I work with actually practice calligraphy on the side.
