Engagement session tip

Ania, on February 22, 2020 at 7:08 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
Hello,
I have a question about how much tip should we give our photographer for the engagement session tomorrow. The session costs us 260.00 and he will also be the photographer for our wedding. Will $60.00 be enough or should we go higher or lower? Thank you do much in advance for all the help 🙂❤️

I think $60 is good, but I wouldn’t tip until you receive the photos. You want to tip on the final product.

Thank you so much Caytlyn, I thought we were suppose to tip right after the session so it wouldn't be awkward when we leave.

If the photographer is the owner or partner in the business, no need to tip. If they simply work for a studio take has several photographers, you can tip.

We didn't tip our photographers for our engagement shoot (husband/wife team). We will be tipping with a thank you card after we get back from our honeymoon.
