Engagement Rings

Same here. My fiance went the cheaper route for my engagement ring because that was what he could afford at the time. The ring size needed to be changed and a few months later the band actually broke. Fast forward he ended up buying me a vintage style engagment ring from Kesslers. I love it!

Same here! My FH bought me a cheap ring to propose with because he wanted me to help pick out my own ring. We bought my ring about a month later, and then 9 months after that discovered that the jewelry store had screwed it up (sized it to a 6 when I am a 4.5, and said that ring couldn’t go any smaller 🙄) so we ended up getting a whole new ring 9 months into our engagement. I actually love the new one significantly more because I had more time to think about what I wanted. It really feels like “my” ring

That's really sweet of your FH to offer to get you another ring. Are you going to trade out your ring or are you going to wear both of them until the wedding?

I started out with one and we are now considering "upgrading" to a more expensive Ring. I kind of feel like if we do upgrade then people will think that I didnt appreciate the original one my FH got me. Does anyone else feel that way?
