Engagement Rings and Nails

I just continue getting them done like I always did. My nail girl is amazing, and usually decides my nail color. Lol

As for my wedding day, she has a few ideas she wants to try out, but for the most part, I want them to be pale pink or nude color.

This is my ring and my inspiration for the day of. Going with nude and rose gold. My colors are red and chocolate brown with rose gold and greenery as it is a Christmas themed wedding.

I get gel manicures every month so I just kept doing that during my engagement. Since I had a Christmas wedding I wanted a deep red nail color to match my deep red lips and flowers.

I just got mine done in glitter gels after we got engaged and I loved it. I’d do it again if I wasn’t poor lol.
For the day of, I might do this or a dark matte red.

My ring is simple, 1 Carat Oval diamond on a thin white gold band. Although it’s simple, that diamond sparkles like a disco ball so I make sure to keep my nails fairly tame as to not distract from the ring that I love so much. I usually stick to some variation of pink, creme, gray or burgundy. Besides nail color, I put lotion on my cuticles every night to keep them soft and smooth

Also... I just paint my own nails lol I had them professionally done for engagement photos and will again for the big day. Otherwise it gets way too pricey!

I usually keep mine short and clean. When I do have nail polish on, it doesn't last more than a day because I work in healthcare and it starts peeling off when I take my gloves off. I tried gel before, i didnt like it that much. I might try it again but with a different nail salon. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with my nail for the wedding.

I wear acrylic so I get them filled every 2-3 weeks. I recently started going to a new salon closer to home so I’ve been testing out their colors for a good day of option. I usually wear shades of nudes & mauves. I’m debating doing that or doing a French ombré for the wedding.

This is what I was thinking as well. Except I'd probably do silver at the base.

I get mines done every 2 weeks but I’m going to cut them down and do a nude or white color with a little design

My nails are outgrown right now but they are pink with my index fingers white glitter and my middle finger is half pink half white with rhinestones in the middle.

I’m thinking the white with glitter and rhinestones (not that many rhinestones though) for my engagement pictures, and the ombré pink ones for the wedding not sure yet. Although I get mine done once a month so my nail girl will help me along the way as well!

I'm doing my colors, navy and lavender and grey, so my nails are lavender and my ring finger, is silver/navy with diamonds

I was always very concerned about having good looking nails, so now I still do my routine, however, I have been playing with different nail polish colors so I can make a decision on which one I will be using for the big day!

I'm going to keep my nails on the shorter side and paint them nude with gold glitter on the ring fingers,

I am always closer to neutral and light tones. Yes I wear reds and purples and blues but pinks happen to be my thing!
