My e-ring is my FH’s grandma’s ring. I love it, I love that she gave it to him and that I’m getting it. Yet, I find myself wanting a different ring. Nothing big, fancy and expensive. I haven’t said anything yet to anyone ab my ring dilemma.

Your ring is beautiful! I have a marquise e-ring as well. If you really want another ring, I'd be honest with FH now instead of later!

A way you could frame this is that you love his grandmas ring but want to keep it safe and locked in a jewelry box at home and save it for special occasions.

You could show him some of your ideas and it’s not like you are lying (you have love for your ring and you do want to keep it safe).

I think another issue I might be having is that I can’t seem to find a wedding band I like. I’ve thought ab simple plain bands, enhancers and jeweled bands but nothing has won me over yet

What is the reason you want a new ring? Can you (no pun intended) put your finger on it? Do you know what kind of ring you do want? The cut, stone, metal, style?
