Engagement Ring Sizing

Its so sad to give it away for a few days, but ****% just do it. I had mine resized at a trusted jeweler after being nervous and putting it off for a few weeks and it is so much better now. Its worth it for sure

Some places can do it same day. I had to send mine off. It took 2 weeks. I got a silicone one to wear in its place so my finger didn’t feel naked. Amazon also has some cheap simple metal bands. I got a rose gold one for $15

Much better to deal without it for a few days while it’s resized than deal without it while it gets repaired from being cut off your finger lol

Mine was made smaller, but they did it in a day, I could have picked it up same day but I went to a few hours away, for the day, and the shop was closed by the time I got back, so I just picked it up the next morning. I can't imagine wearing it at the size it was for this long

Resizing for my ring took one day! I feel your pain though, I was so upset to see it go I had to go and buy a silicone ring that day! Go to a jeweler and they can help you find the perfect size!

Cutting off your circulation is not worth it! Wherever you take it to get resized, make sure they size your finger first (and try the size above and below for the perfect fit). Like others said, get a cheap replacement ring for the meantime. I actually bought myself a cheap ring from Charming Charlie years ago (so that traveling as a single 20something, I could flash it to keep the creeps away), and it looks like a traditional solitaire engagement ring. I wear that ring when I don’t want to risk bringing along my real engagement ring (like when I went to Vegas for my bach).
