Engagement ring getting fixed

I got a nice fakey from DIllards. The jeweler that my real ring is from even complimented me on it lollol

I wear my promise ring when I don't have my e-ring. Not too long ago it was in the shop because a diamond fell out, so I know how it feels. It's actually in the shop right now, too, but that's to get it ready for the wedding! I needed one of my wedding bands sized, my e-ring re-plated and all 3 of them soldered together. So I won't be able to wear it until the wedding. I miss it.

I have had to give up my e-ring twice to the jeweler since we've been engaged. I didn't have a replacement ring either time, and I felt naked.

Maybe I'm confused.. but... are you not engaged because you're not wearing a ring?

I work at Target part time. This lady came in last weekend with her fiance. She was freaking out and wanted a fake ring because her current ring was getting re-sized and could take 2 weeks and she wouldn't "look" engaged if she didn't have the ring. She "NEEDED" a ring and it couldn't look "fake". I'm sorry.. you're attempting to purchase a $14.99 ring.. of course it's going to look fake!

Shaking my head... you're engaged whether you've got a ring on or not.

I am engaged and I have a ring. I have to get it inspected every 6 months to keep my insurance for it. I just didn't want to have a naked ring finger when I am so used to having my ring right there on it

I took it to my usual jeweler on Sunday and he said he did not see any loose stones and had no idea what the other guy was seeing, so thank goodness I don't have to part with my ring!

I finally got my engagement ring sized 7 mos after getting married. They loosened the settings and I had to send it back. I at least have my band to wear, but I had bought a fake set for my honeymoon so I wore that if I wanted to "feel" like I had a full set.

But it'll be okay! don't stress. If a fake ring makes you feel better by all means, get one. Otherwise, patience is best. I wouldn't wear my band early. Feels like bad luck. And I don't really buy into that stuff!

Mine was at the jeweler for about a week due to the stone being a tiny bit loose. I just wore a ring on that finger and went on with my life. I did miss my bling but didn't let it ruin my day or go buy a substitute ring.

Got this little cutie to wear while my loose diamond is being fixed. I don't think I want to go without a ring!

I have a CZ ring I wear when my wedding band is getting fixed. My engagement ring is a bezel set solitaire so it hasn’t needed service

I have a $9 CZ ring that actually doesn’t look too bad from a distance (the center “stone” is a little crooked but you only really notice it from the side view. It’s from Walmart, i didn’t expect anything different) that is posing as my engagement ring until we can save a little money to get me a nice moissanite ring I figure it’ll serve its purpose really well as a backup cheap ring for trips and if my other ring ever needs to be fixed or anything like that.
