Engagement ring and band the same size?

My wedding band is slightly thinner than my engagement ring

Do you mean same ring size or same width?

Mine are the same size and same band width.

My wedding band is actually slightly larger than my engagement ring because it's a bit wider. I think it really depends on the ring and your fingers.

Mine are the same size. Before I got married I considered resizing my e-ring down .25 because it felt big. But once I added the band it has helped to keep the e-ring in place and sometimes even feels snug so I'm glad I waited.

I was told to do this by our jeweler given that once the rings are stacked they will feel more snug.
