We’re doing engagement pictures in about two weeks, and I’m not sure what we should wear. The shoot will be outdoors in late September (in Texas). Our predominant color in the wedding is blue. Should we wear blue in the engagement pictures? Or something else?

Congratulations on the engagement!
Engagement photoshoots are so much fun! There are no rules on what you can/should wear, so I would just choose something comfortable, that reflects you, and that you feel confident in! Wearing something blue would be a cute foreshadowing to the wedding, but definitely not necessary.

Wear whatever you feel best in. There is no rule on colors or formality.

White, pale blue, and royal blue I think would be pretty! I’d look at some engagement photos on Pinterest for some inspo too!

You definitely don’t have to wear white! Some people do but you could also wear a light blue dress.

Congratulations!
For mine, I did a blush pink dress and then a more casual jeans/white flowy top, both from Express. There really aren't any rules, but I think the best thing my fiancé and I did was dress like we normally would/in things that were comfortable; you want to look and feel like yourself! Lulu's online has a TON of cute blue options you could do for late September.

Definitely you do not have to wear white. Choose what will fit your mood and style. That other discussion just followed an interest in the white dresses.
