Engagement pictures Jitters!!!

Breath! I’d start looking at Pinterest for inspiration.

Do you have a style for your hair that you feel most comfortable with? I understand your jitters because I had them too before ours, but we had SO MUCH fun. And some of my favorite photos are the ones she caught of us just goofing off where not everything is perfect, so don't worry too much about being perfect! We did a more casual engagement shoot because we wanted to look like ourselves and have it represent who we were.

I'm natrual abd didn't want to deal with humidity in august when we took our engagement pics. So, I had crochet done.

Are there any natural styles that are pretty easy for you to do? I’m natural too and my go-to’s are a high puff and a sleek back bun. If it’s not too late you can find a braiding place that can give you like 5 straight back cornrows or 2 big braids. Crown braids are also really cute and pretty easy to do after watching YouTube tutorials a few times. I would avoid a twist out or braid out since it’s hit or miss how they will come out the day of, unless you’re good at them. Also, don’t forget your accessories! If you decide on a slicked back bun you can add some rhinestone hair clips or a head band for some extra sparkle. I hope it all works out for you! You’re going to look amazing.

I’m natural too and wore my hair in a wash n go with gel. They came ok, I messed up by not starting early enough so my hair was half wet in the photos...but had I given myself enough time it would have been perfect!

Like you and Mrs. Spring, I am natural as well. For my engagement pictures, I also had a crotchet style.
