Engagement Pictures-include the kids?

We included our son for just a few pics. It was a nice opportunity since we were all together and dressed nicely. The majority of them were my FH and I though.

My fiancé and I have a son and we’re thinking of including him for a picture or two just to keep but mostly just us two. I plan on using just one picture of me and my fiancé for the save the date.

I had the same question but I decided to do them just him and I. but I plan to do more family photos once the leaves fall. My daughter is only 7 and I knew she would be bored/ continuously ask when we were going to be done if she was with us.

I know what you mean, I didn't see any discussions on here about whether to include the kids in the photo session. I have two daughters (aged 4 and 11 months) and didn't know if I should bring them along or leave them with a family friend for a few. I hear what you're saying! Thank you so much for your input!!

That sounds great!!

It's fine if you want to include your kids in some of the pictures, but it's definitely not expected. Make sure you get plenty of shots with just you and your future spouse, though!

We included my son for a couple of the pics and I'm so glad we did, this is from out sneak peek. I can't wait to get the rest pics back. We also did one where the 3 off is are walking holding hands and talking and laughing and I can wait to see how that 1 turned out.

My FH and I included his daughter in a few pictures. They turned out really cute. Most of the photos were of us. We plan to have a 5x7 picture of the 3 of us on the sign in table and an 8x10 of just the 2 of us.

Definitely add them for at least some!

Just for a few then it was just about him and I ❤️
