Engagement Picture Location Ideas.. Omaha/Lincoln, NE - Council Bluffs, IA Area. HELP PLEASE!!

I am from Omaha!! The Old Market is nice, but you can also get them taken at Heartland of America Park which is basically where the Old Market is.

Also, the Gerald R. Ford birthsite is a beautiful garden area where you can get them taken.

Yes, nine months away! My fiancé is from Michigan so we got ours taken at Silver Beach in St. Joseph, MI, and at Warren Dunes Park in St. Joseph, MI!

Your photographer should also be able to tell you of some good spots! I agree that Old Market has some great backdrops. If Lincoln is on the table, UNL's campus is absolutely gorgeous. I've seen quite a few who take them at the football stadium (outside). They're in the middle of construction now, but may still have some good places. They're redoing the Haymarket here in Lincoln, so depending on when you do it there may be some new places there. Also, if you want a field, Nebraska is the perfect place You'd be able to find some just outside of Omaha, depending on which direction you go. FI is from a small town in rural NE and he wants to do ours there... like hardcore farm theme. Can't wait!

Sidenote, Aleykit718, I'm originally from Michigan! I'm out here in Lincoln for grad school, and met FI here. Crazy to find another Nebraska bride with a Michigan connection. I went to Notre Dame for undergrad, so I'm familiar with the area where you got your e-pics. Gorgeous!

I'll have to look into UNL.. I never would have thought of there but I've heard it's a gorgeous campus! The Haymarket would also be interesting!

I love country farm engagement pictures! We're doing a bit of a country theme but not hardcore lol That's a great idea to do it in his town (: I think they'll turn out to be so cute and amazing!

I second Aleykit718! I grew up in Omaha, Old Market/park area is a great choice. I took my friend's senior pictures there.
